Sumner Company specializes in custom, semi-custom and spec-built homes in the Wasilla, Palmer, and Eagle River area.


Quality.  We believe that beauty is more than drywall deep, and that houses should stand up far past the end of the typical builder's one year warranty.  The houses we build will provide decades of worry free and low maintenance homeownership, which means dollars back in your pocket over the life of your home.  We combine the knowledge of decades of construction experience with the latest in proven building science and trends to lower our callbacks, and we back it up with an unprecedented 1-2-10 year warranty.  One year bumper-to-bumper limited warranty, two year electrical and plumbing system warranty, and a ten year structural and central heating system warranty.


Customer Service.  Our goal is 100% customer satisfaction through quality construction and enhanced customer service.  Our office phone number has not changed in over 30 years, and calls and emails are always returned promptly.  Warranty and service calls are handled expediently, most of the time within days of notification, and our clients are never "left out in the cold".  We strive to make the communication during the home building process as easy and stress-free as possible, and buyers are welcome to stop in at their jobsite to check on the progress.  In addition to the scheduled in-person walk-throughs, our online project management software lets our clients see the real-time schedule, project files, photos of the process and manage their selections on their computer or smartphone (link at bottom of page).
